Very early one morning, years ago, I woke up with the idea for this sauce. Awakening my entire family in the process of boiling down gallons of fresh cider, they weren’t convinced the sauce was worth losing sleep. Once they tried the finished creation their grumpiness turned to glee. Dribble it on slices of apple for instant caramel apples. You might just eat it out of the jar.
