One day I was looking at a huge box of ginger root while making caramel sauce and thought of the possibilities... Reheat gently and pour over apples or bananas. Bake with it on coffee cakes or pies. Use as a glaze on pork or chicken. Try roasting winter squash or pumpkin too. Drizzle on ice cream for the perfect finish to an Asian meal.
